| last weekend i was in PA for a dear friend's wedding. it was such a blessing to see them get married. i also had the chance to be in the bridal party. i can't help but also say in the past two weddings that i've been in the party, i couldn't help but get emotional myself during the ceremony. knowing that two sets of people were making lifelong decisions to stay committed to one another was truly beautiful. at any rate, the point of what i was trying to say has more to do with my obsession with the beat of music. just to state a fact...every time i leave an event that involves dancing, i just want to keep dancing, or go on out and dance some more. of course, over time, that feeling ends, but for now, i'm still dancing in my seat when i hear a song with a good beat. i've had the same feeling show up ever since i went to my first school dance in 7th grade. is it normal?! haha, i guess :) |

| i wonder if i should look forward to a day when those who stand up to speak of Jesus Christ in public will bring the same allure and interest to the general listening public as much as those who stand up to speak against Jesus Christ does today. in some ways, i do look forward to that day. that'll be a day of Christians who are bold and willing to sacrifice their lives/reputation to God Almighty. in other ways, i do know that there may be a reality in the fact that we'll be far and few inbetween, and perhaps not even welcome. perhaps even taboo? ----- |

| been so busy with moving, planning, fundraising. life is pretty hectic. but some things are doing pretty well right now too. i'm currently in Pittsburgh for the night, participating in training with my colleagues who are also new on staff here. it's been a blast so far, and i'm absolutely loving it so far. here's a fun quote(not verbatim):
"You're an SJ? I'm an SJ too! We're all SJ's! We're totally busting out the FDtool tomorrow...we're gonna love it" |

| iGoogle was so cool, until I discovered 15 minutes afterwards that the GMail gadget doesn't support keyboard shortcuts. That was enough to turn me away form iGoogle! *sigh* |
